| so i am almost done with purchasing everything for my build up. next is which turbo to purchase. just recently, a friend of mine blew his motor. he had a lot of work done to his car. it got me thinking that i dont want to have so much HP that i'll start breaking things left and right.
i originally had my mind set on the GT28RS turbos (JWT700BB), but from what i am told, with the mods i will have, i will put out 500-600 HP to the wheels. i dont want to worry about my trans going on me or other things breaking. so i need feedback on turbos. i want a quick spool up turbo and nice power. not like the sport 500s. i drove a Z with it and was not impressed. i was looking at the Z1's GT600R, JWT530BB, or the GT28R. anyone have any info on the JWT 650 turbos. i guess i'm looking at a 5 bolt turbo thats streetable. or is the GT28RS still a reliable, streetable, and little lag? heres a list of the mods i will have:
CP pistons, eagle rods
Mike smith Manis
snow performance
rps 6 puck clutch and flywheel
dual intake
740cc injectors
ported heads with JWT 500 cams
AshSpec Massive SMIC and maybe Ash's 2.5" IC pipes if they ever come out.
